It's been quite a while since my last post, I've been taking a break while dealing with some medical issues. I wasn't in very good spirits so blogging took a back seat. I'm not 100% yet but I'm healing and doing a lot better. This year seems to be the year of injury and recovery for me, every time I build back up something else happens.
As a special treat (and excuse to get out of the house) we went with a group of friends to a local farm. It was a beautiful sunny day and luckily the weather was a bit cooler than it has been lately.

Hubby loved feeding the animals. Someday we hope to get some land and have alpacas of our own.
I wasn't sure if this fella approved of me taking his photo or not, I was waiting to be spit at.
These geese were so interesting, they looked like walking feather pillows.
The pig's name was Sugar Plum.
There were also lots of adorable bunnies. I didn't allow myself to hold them because I knew I wouldn't want to give them back. Hubby and my hearts still have a Yuki shaped hole in them, we miss our little snowball everyday.
The last thing on the agenda was group shenanigans in the corn maze. The hurricane impacted the corn growth so the maze was a bit wimpy but we managed to have fun anyway.
I am really going to try to get back into the habit of blogging. I have a camping/hiking trip coming up soon so I should have lots more pictures to share if nothing else.
