Dotty About You

It's been pretty boring around here lately. It's still crazy hot and sticky and I haven't had the energy to do much of anything. I am adjusting my walk schedule since I am walking a friend's dog in the mornings and the pup doesn't have much stamina yet.

I got my hair cut yesterday, while I had thought about growing my hair back out but I really missed the ease of styling my hair when it was shorter. Yesterday, spurred on by a coupon in the Ad Max, I went for it and got my hair chopped just above my shoulders. It will be so much easier to keep while it's hot out, my hair takes forever to dry when it is long.
I've been watching Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries on Netflix so I almost went for the full on 20's China Doll cut but I'm glad I went a bit longer so I can curl it.

I'm so happy I found my MAC lippy, I had misplaced it in one of my purses and had to drag them all out to find which one it was in. Neon pink isn't my best color but I love a bold hot pink in the summer.
I took a chance when ipsy offered a special on theBalm matte palette, I am so glad I did, I love it. It is so nice to find a matte palette with a good selection of colors, even the pinks look nice on me which is rare. I highly recommend this palette, it is excellent quality and has little to no fall out.

Ipsy got me twice this month, they also offered another trio of nail polishes from Trust Fund Beauty. The colors were- Ripped denim (a dusty blue), Game Changer (a neon coral), Vodka with a Twist (a light neon green). Unlike most neons, the green and coral only take two coats to be fully opaque and they glow in black light. Trust Fund's polishes are 10 free vegan polishes and last better than any other "_ number" free polishes. My nails have only started to barely chip on the tips after 4 days of dog walking, cooking, crocheting, and doing dishes.
