Sundae

Things have been a little slow around here during the day. I have upped my walks to 5+ miles which I am quite proud of but my hip was flaring up a bit Wednesday (after 7 or so miles on Tuesday) so I took a rest day Thursday as to not over do it.

I wore a version of this outfit last week to see a rockabilly band, Lara Hope and The Ark-Tones. That night it was very chilly so I wore knee high boots and my calf length vintage mohair coat but I preferred the way I styled it here with nude stockings and heels. I wish I had gotten a picture of my hair from that evening though, I did a killer wet set, I looked like I belonged on Mad Men.

Today Mom and I hung out and had a girl day. We had a BBQ lunch, did some shopping at an outlet, and got our hair cut. I got about 2 inches cut off, more of a straight cut along the bottom, and my layers redone. Since I was there already I had him section off my hair for a faux hawk, why go crazy doing it myself when I didn't have to, right? Right now my hair is up in curlers and I'm watching a ton of tutorials on YouTube so hopefully I'll have cool hair to see my favorite band, The Living Deads tonight.
I'm excited about Valentine's Day, my gal pals and I are getting together for brunch then Hubby and I are going to have dinner at one of our favorite pizza places and go see Zoolander II.
