The past few days have been in the mid to high 70s, it is already feeling like Spring. Saturday Hubby and I took advantage of the weather and started working on our back yard. Hubby cleared brush, carried branches to the road for oversize pickup, and pulled up bunches of oak saplings. I sorted our pots, weeded the garden plots, and gathered /stacked our plant cages. Today we got a load of mushroom compost which we will be tilling into the plots this evening and if this pleasant weather sticks around we will be able to plant our veggie garden next week.
Sunday I took advantage of the lovely weather and wore one of favorite dresses. I love Effie's Heart dresses because they are so comfy. I was lucky enough to grab this in their sale section for $20. They just added a two of my favorite styles to the sale section and I'm seriously eyeing them.

Recently I used some of both my Ipsy and Birchbox points to get some goodies. I got the eye palette with Birchbox points, they were out of the Formal Eyes colorway so I got Social Eyes. When I first opened Social Eyes I was a little surprised by how dark the shadows looked but when I put them on they looked just fine although they were a little sparkly for my tastes. Also they seem to not blend as well as my other Coastal Scents shadows.
Shortly before I took an Ipsy hiatus I was able to snag a Starlooks eye liner pen. I adore this product, I am on my second one.
Since starting back up on Ipsy I had some points sitting around so when I saw they had lip stains I immediately got 2 of the 3 colors. Above I'm wearing Sangria, a dark reddish shade. The lip stain really surprised me, it is just a marker for your lips but boy does it stay well. I only had to re-apply once all day and that was after a big, messy, home cooked meal.
