Floral prints aren't really my thing. It's not that I don't love flowers, I truly do, I just am not as drawn to floral prints as I am to other novelty prints. Oddly enough, I have rocked florals multiple days this week, most of which didn't make it to the blog. Must be springtime.
Today's outfit was rather important, I wore it to a job interview. I haven't been on an interview in several years and while I was very nervous I kept my cool and didn't allow myself overthink anything about it, including what to wear. I picked this ensemble out while drinking my morning coffee.
I don't think this dress has ever made it to the blog before, I wear it quite a lot but usually to events that I don't have time to get photos. This dress is way too big on me (it gaps about 6 inches on the waist) and I haven't gotten around to altering it so I normally wear it with a thick belt or a cardigan. It was a thrift find and I couldn't say no to a darling border print, especially because it reminded me of The Garden of Live Flowers in Through the Looking Glass. Can you tell coral and turquoise is one of my favorite color combos?

I kept my make-up pretty low key (for me) with the Pulp Fiction Palette by Urban Decay on my eyes and Frida by Colourpop on the lips.
Colourpop's write up for Frida:
“For the woman fueled by a substantial amount of coffee.”
This always makes me smile, it certainly is me.

Monday is Hubby and mine's wedding anniversary. Our love and trust in each other keeps our relationship strong. He is my best friend, we compliment each other well, and I couldn't imagine my life with out him.
