Sorry for the lack of posts since our daycation, I've had some things I have had to deal with that didn't put me in the best mood. Thank goodness for friends though, the past two weekends were full of friends, water, sun, and fun. This past weekend I got to christen the surprise costume I have been working on, if you follow me on Instagram you got to see some sneak peaks. I got some photos of the full costume but I have to get them from my friend since they are on her camera.
This is one of my favorite summer dresses although it seems I make more posts with it in the fall and winter. It is a BB Dakota dress, this brand is rather pricy new but I picked it on on eBay for a really good price. The quality is great but I wished it had more room for bigger chests, I had to add darts at the top so it didn't gap when trying to fit around my girls. I adore the flouncy fabric, vertical print gores, and watercolor brushstroke stripes.
Now that grade schools are out most of my normal photo locations are teaming with children. I had trouble deciding where to take photos today but I ended up picking the downtown chain of parks. This park happens to be right across from our old apartment. I always loved this portion of the parks. Not only is it shaded in the summer, it has a rose garden, and lots of space that I used to juggle in.

Our garden has been exploding lately, I need to post more of the photos on the blog. This is just over 4 pounds of tomatoes. There are 8 varieties in this photo but some of the smaller ones got hidden so it only looks like 7.
