Super Sweet

This weekend was very enjoyable. They weather wasn't the best but we managed to have a good time in spite of it. Saturday we went to a friend's house for a cat movie marathon. The power went out for about an hour at the start of one of the movies so we pulled out Muchkin and had a good game.
Sunday we met up with Hubby's parents as well as my parents for the Tallahassee Community Chorus's performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah. The performance was stirring, everyone was outstanding. The featured vocalists all had beautiful voices, I especially enjoyed the tenor. There was a lull in the bad weather Sunday so we were able to get some photos of my outfit.
The weather has been warm enough to enjoy sleeveless dresses. I love my cupcake dress and it seemed like a good day to pull it out. I accented it with my new darling bunny ice cream cone brooch from Amy Rose Studios.
I finally am noticing my hair getting longer, it also has it's natural wave back (I didn't style my hair in these photos). I took healthy hair for granted in the past but after such a bad year last year I never will again.

Outfit details:
Urban Decay eyes

Dress: Made by me, Butterick 4443
Belt: Target
Clutch: vintage
Shoes: Vivienne Westwood, bought secondhand
It was a little hard to get good pictures because the area by Westcott was swarming with grads getting graduation photos taken. I guess the newest trend is confetti photos? Everyone was tossing tons of it all over, I wished they had cleaned up after themselves, I bet some poor birds or squirrels are going to end up choking on some of it.
