Rain Makes the Garden Grow

I could not have picked a better week to be sick, it has rained nearly every day. Our garden is loving the rain and our veggies are shooting up.
Most of the tomatoes are blooming, and some of the cherry varieties already have little fruit,
See how big they are now? They are past my chest.
A bloom on a mini eggplant. Our Japanese eggplants are a little behind because we had a hard time finding some, we finally found some a week or two after planting the others.
The peppers are off to a good start. Our seedling ones are fast catching up in size to the bought plants.

The one bad thing about the rain is we had to cancel our camping trip this weekend. Hubby and I were really looking forward to getting some time to ourselves. We had booked this weekend to catch the early days of the meteor shower, the park we choice is amazing for stargazing. The weather had other plans, 90% chance of rain with thundershowers expected. Tent camping and severe weather just don't mix. We got a partial refund on the site so at least it wasn't a total loss. I guess we will just stay home and play Alan Wake all weekend.
