Baby It's Cold Outside

It finally feels like winter here. Thursday we had a hard freeze, it will still about 27 degrees when I went out for my walk in the morning. Today was a little better at 37 for my walk but with the wind and cloud cover it seemed colder than yesterday morning. I walked 15 miles this week, I missed walking so much.
I normally hang out with my mom on Fridays but they had made plans today so I had lunch with Hubby instead. My new ModCloth skirt was waiting for me in the mail box when I returned from my walk so I had to wear it. I went up 2 sizes from what I would wear in the store since I find Folter's clothes run small, I would have just bought one size up but they were out of the next size up. The skirt is a bit big so I will take it up before wearing it next time.
I fell in love with this skirt as soon as ModCloth listed it, I even was going to buy the fabric from fabric.com to make my own but thanks to the ModCloth after Christmas sale I was able to get this skirt for 50% then an extra 20% off the sale price which made it just about the same cost as the fabric. Right now it is even cheaper but they have limited sizes left. It's hard to tell but the spiderwebs glow in the dark!
I found the flower crown in the clearance section of an outlet store yesterday when I was buying some reading glasses. I thought it would go well with my faerie costume but as you can see it will be incorporated into my normal wardrobe too.

Flower Crown- outlet
Shirt- thrifted
Sweater- old
Skirt- ModCloth
Gloves- my brother in law's motorcycle shop
Tights- Sock Dreams
Boots- old
I'm not going to lie, I do spend more time in cemeteries that most people do. I find them peaceful and this one has some of the most grand live oaks around. Cemeteries extremely beautiful in the winter. Many of the trees loose their leaves and look like skeletons, while some like the oak and camellias are full of life. I didn't get any photos but the camellias are in full bloom with beautiful blood red blossoms.

The veteran's graves are still decorated from Christmas, it is good to see them loved and cared for.
