Little Red

This weekend was a busy one, Friday night was a volleyball game and Saturday was homecoming. The homecoming game wasn't until 6:30 but Hubby and I had to be on campus by 1 to help set up his department's tailgate party. Needless to say it was a long day Saturday, I was happy Sunday turned out to be slow paced.
Apart from sporting events, I haven't been out of the house as much I as would like lately. I have been in cute outfit withdrawal. Sunday I fixed that, Hubby was sweet and took these photos for me on the way to lunch. It is so nice to have a photographer and not have to try to make my broken tripod work.
I crocheted the cape from yarn I got in a gift swap on Ravelry. I am a big fan of Red Dwarf so my swap partner picked out this yarn especially with that in mind, it is called Galaxy and is a lovely shade of red. I love a good pun, must be the puppeteer/juggler in me. If you like the cape pattern you can find it here

This lovely little hat was a gift from my mom. I asked her to find a vintage hat in her travels across county and this lovely showed up on my doorstep. Unfortunately we had a bad moth problem after we brought a few items back from Grandma's house in the big cleaning of 2012 so many of my wool items have holes. I need to order a felting needle so I can give them a little touch up.
