Something about cool weather makes me want to break out the argyle. I have an inordinate love of argyle, I think watching old British shows like All Creatures Great and Small and Jeeves a Wooster had a good bit to to with it. I fall to pieces when I see an argyle sweater vest, good thing I don't find them in my size otherwise I'm sure my closet would be full of them. Any whoo, I found this sweater (and a true argyle one) at Goodwill yesterday when I popped in to use my 20% discount card I got when I gave goodwill my old washer and drier.
Hat- crocheted by me, pattern here
Spiderweb necklace- Gift from my mother in law
Pinstripe Skirt- Express (thrifted)
Tights- Sock Dreams
I adore this little pinstripe skirt, I got it at a bag sale in a thrift shop so I only must have payed 50 cents for it. It is rather short so it only comes out in the autumn when I am wearing tights.
The pendant was made by an artist that uses real spider webs.

I had to go yarn shopping for my Ravelry group swap last week and of course I came out of the LYS with some yarn for myself too. I had always wanted to try some Cascade Yarn so I bought a ball of Hollywood in ebony and a Sunseeker in pink. Above is the Hollywood yarn, it was a dream to work with. I don't often work with wool and animal fibers since so many of my family members are allergic to it (and it is no fun to make things people can't wear), but this baby was for me. If you crochet check out this pattern, it comes out so well.
I'm always surprised when I find a phone booth, let alone a working one.
I'm considering this my first real Fall outfit. I can't wait to make many more and to show off my other sweaters I picked up yesterday.
