The Rain, The Park and Crocheted Things

I had a hard time deciding where to take pictures today, our town's Vietnam memorial would have been perfect but it is hard to park by and I was running low on parking change anyway. I chose the Korean memorial instead, it is located in the newly redone Cascades park and easily accessed.
A family had walked up just before me and was playing on the broken portion with the names of the service men, I was glad that setting up my tripod and camera gently nudged them away. I dislike people that don't teach their children to honor art and memorials.
The Korean War Memorial was dedicated in 1999. Its centerpiece is a large, broken circle that symbolizes the “Circle of Life.” The portion of the circle broken from the top sits to the side and is inscribed with the names of Floridians who died in the Korean War. -Source
