St Paddy's Day

Ah, the day of wearing my least favorite color is upon us. I've never been much of green person, I only like a few shades. I don't wear this skirt often since it is odd shades of lime and really doesn't go with much of anything. I found it in a clearance bin at a thrift shop for 25¢, I was not going to pass up a nice skirt for that price.

My mom's frog brooch even made an appearance today, he is a truly amazing antique piece. My emerald eyed friend doesn't get worn often since I am always afraid I am going to loose him.
I got to play with bright eye shadow today.

Speaking of green things:

This weekend we planted our tomatoes. We normally plant them in our raised beds but this year we decided they needed more room. We have been saving kitty litter buckets for a long time now just for this project, I was very happy to have them out of the pantry.
They look tiny now since they are 3/4 under the soil but in several months they will be taller than my husband.
I painted our plant cages several years ago because I was bored, I really like how much they stand out now.
Nope, not one of our real bunnies but he is there guarding the baby herbs and last of the lettuce.
We will be planting chilies and eggplant in the next few weeks. I can't wait for all the yumminess!

Have a great green day and stay safe, RC
